THE RE-GENESIS SERIES
A series of BodyEcology bush retreats aimed at a deep inauguration into the
sensed interrelationship of all living systems.
In the re-genesis series we work to understand our sensory participation in the world, and our being equal, but not superior, to it in all aspects. The work prepares ground for shamanic awareness and for starting to bring it into our daily lives. Movement, breathwork, meditation and bodywork are part of this process, as well as is an experience of working in dialogue with the surrounding landscape and its histories. The basis of BodyEcology is developing compassionate relationship of inside to outside, inside to itself. The objective is to enlarge participants' sensing, body-thinking resources, and tap into capacities to re-align and re-cognise our sense of who we are.
How can such sensibilities be harnessed in ethical practices--performing, teaching, dancing, parenting, curing, caring, articulating, bringing-into-the-world? What is it to engage with others from within the BE experience? What patternings emerge? What are the boundaries of interaction? What interrelationships are now possible?
This inaugural series was run with components inclusive of children.
Re-genesis was initiated in 2003 in two locations: Lake George and Tidbinbilla Nature reserve. Lake George is an ancient, often dry lake bed just north of Canberra, circled by a bifurcation in the Great Dividing Range.
Tidbinbilla Nature reserve, south of Canberra, was ravaged by firestorms in 2003. The workshop set out to dialogue with its processes of recovery.
"I felt the plains and barriers of my cultural evolution shift - my own and all the histories I carry with me."
Angela Badolato, dancer, performer, Reflexologist, Sydney and Orlando, Florida
"I'm feeling the longing throughout my body--the cells of my soft tissue and my organs prepare themselves to receive nourishment, the joints sense the possibility of more fluidity"
Claudine von Neiderhausen, Shiatsu therapist and dancer, Sydney.
"Last night I saw a nature programme about the gestation period of foetuses in different animals. The transformation of the caterpillar into the butterfly--just stunning! And there was also the elephant, who carries its youngster for 22 months--mmmhhh little elephants! Made me think of your work, giving us the ability to tune into these most amazing processes and to be part of them, not separate."
Claudine von Neiderhausen

INTIMACY
ECOBODY
EMBRYOLOGY: HEART-PULSE TECHNIQUE
“I discovered a whole new world. I felt that I was connecting with a wisdom way beyond the conscious mind …”
A journey through the earliest stages of our embodiment. A deep metabolic healing process that can achieve lasting change. We work through developmental embryo states and those of the developing spine. Suitable for individuals or couples preparing for conception or childbirth, but also for anyone wanting to clear restrictive patternings from the time of their earliest pre-conscious states.
I have experienced Zsuzsi's work both in a group context and individually. As I allowed my 'body's intelligence' to listen and respond to Zsuzsi's guidance I discovered a whole new world. I felt that I was connecting with a wisdom way beyond the conscious mind and the 'spinal' work we did appeared to work with the very incarnation of my spirit into this body... it is challenging in itself to attempt to put the experience into words simply because it is so beyond the 'normal' consciousness and 'rational' mind. I highly recommend this work to anyone interested in exploring the body, consciousness and healing.
